Reporting to the Project Manager, the appointee will be required to:

• vet the applications for funding of R&D projects;
• monitor on-going R&D projects, including technical and financial aspects;
• provide secretarial & logistic support for project meetings;
• undertake project administrative tasks such as preparing project updates and reports;
• work closely with R&D researchers and specialists in various institutions;
• support other functions including business development, IP and information management;
• prioritize tasks based on their functions and importance; and
• perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• a recognized degree, preferably in Textiles and Clothing;
• two or more years of relevant working experience, with experience in R&D or textile/fashion related industry being an advantage;
• highly-organized, capable of working under pressure with multi-task assignments;
• excellent interpersonal skills; and
• fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese, with good command of Putonghua being an asset.
