Job Description
A leading multinational medical device manufacturer would like to invite a sales leader to join their regional team in Hong Kong. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global leader in medical technology and lead their sales force in Hong Kong, Southeast Asia, China, and Japan.

Major responsibilities:
- Provide accurate monthly forecasts and make recommendations for the development of business and market strategies
- Regularly interacts with executives and/or major customers. Interactions frequently involve special skills, such as negotiating with customers or management or attempting to influence senior level leaders regarding matters of significance to the organization
- Develop a deep knowledge of company’s products, services, and business procedures.
- Work closely with top management to establish the specification and pricing of tenders and to ensure compliance with company policies
- Implement, review, and report budgets and forecasts to support business and market strategies and corporate targets
- Lead the software sales team and provide guidance in the negotiation and administration of sales contracts consistent with sales, business and market strategies and maximize sales opportunities
- Ensure sales staff are appropriately trained in product knowledge, business knowledge and management skills
- Collaborate with Human Resources to ensure good employee management
- Maintain frequent contacts with potential customers, by organizing customer demos, attending
symposia and meetings, and assessing their requirements, in order to develop new customers and maximize business and market strategies - Ensure that information on all customers and products are maintained to ensure updated
information is available at all times to relevant parties
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or above in related subject
- 15 years of capital equipment/software sales experience with a solid sales track record (those with less experience will be considered for Senior Regional Sales Manager role)
- Solid understanding and application of contract structuring, composition and contract negotiation
- Strategic mindset with the ability to accurately forecast future sales and forming sales plans to adapt to constant shifts in the marketplace
- Good understanding and experience in establish quotations, costing, cost monitoring, and following up on sales execution
- Mature personality to negotiate with high level hospital and government personnel network
- Articulate and skilled in interpersonal communication with customers, business partners, authorities as well as internal customers
- Demonstrated people management / supervisory skills
- Solid understanding of commercial terms and sound business administration skills
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills are essential
- Fluency in Cantonese or Mandarin is desirable
- Willing to travel frequently in Southeast Asia
