About the Position

Location: ALS Environmental Division (Hong Kong)

Reports to: Section Manager

Status: Regular Full-time

General Accountability:

The primary purpose of this position is to provide clerical support for sample receipt and reporting activities.

The position will be responsible for:

• Checking the sample information and recording sample receipt condition;
• Allocating work order numbers to samples;
• Data Entry of client and analytical information into the laboratory information management system;
• Performing housekeeping duties as required;
• Maintaining cold room and other sample storage areas are kept clean and in order;
• Other duties, as requested, relating to this position.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Good communication skills;
• Excellent computer literacy skills;
• Skills in planning and organising;
• Good physical fitness.

Required Qualifications:

• Secondary school qualification, preferably in Science subjects (e.g. School Cert, Dip and High Dip);
• 0-2 years previous laboratory experience;
• Good computer literacy skills.
• Proficient English and Chinese verbal and written communication skills

Candidate with more working experience will be considered as Sample Receipt & Reporting Officer.
