Responsibilities: 

• Accurately estimate the product cost and investment at the concept stage of new product / on rough sketch
• Recommend and propose design improvement, tooling layout, engineering modification, sourcing channel or compelling material cost solution / alternatives to optimize the product cost.
• Analyze material cost trend and other internal and external factors which impact the product cost.
• Benchmark market price of raw material and labour cost throughout China and other trending countries.
• Build and maintain a global supply network of raw material, components and finished goods.

Requirements: 

• Degree holder of Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering
• At least 5 -10 years costing experience in toy or premium products
• Strong technical knowledge of product engineering, injection, blow molding, decoration processes, tooling, sewing fabric, package and electronics
• Excellent organizational skills with strong analytical capability
• Able to handle multi-tasks independently
• Process a high level of initiative and integrity
• Can-do, proactive, self-driven and forward thinking
• Excellent command in both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua
