PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement strong policies, procedures and controls regarding all financial activity;
• Establish controls for regional operations including best practices around Anti-corruption laws and regulations including Foreign Corruption Practice Act (FCPA);
• Prepare and conduct regular internal audit and financial process reviews and give recommendations on the effectiveness of processes for Internal Audit team and senior management;
• Keep abreast of the control and financial processes, provide guideline / instruction to the Far East Finance teams;
• Foster and maintain close communication with stakeholders in organization, both orally and in writing and have the ability to manage expectations of stakeholders effectively;
• Support senior management in all aspects of leading and transforming a new strategic direction;
• Explore various platforms and entity structures for new initiatives;
• Projects and tasks as assigned

JOB SPECIFICATIONS (e.g. Qualification, Job Experience):

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines;
• CPA qualification or equivalent;
• 8+ years of post-qualification experience in accounting management, financial reporting, project management and audit, managerial experience in sizable MNC matrix organization environment;
• Auditing experience with reputable audit firms, preferably with experience in Anti-corruption laws and regulations, fraud examination and FCPA;
• Experience implementing financial and operational best practices and partnering with an executive team;
• Prior exposure to China business is a definite advantage;
• SAP experience is a plus;
• Ability to work independently and result-oriented. Have "can do" attitude;
• Proactive and sharing attitude to be a good team player;
• Excellent command in spoken & written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
