Responsibilities

• Executes and manages the annual regional audit plan to include scheduling audit engagements and proactively maintaining the audit schedule.
• Updates the VP of IA and Audit Manager in the US on a regular basis to ensure seamless communication on audit plan progress and discuss any issues and challenges.
• Defines audit objectives, scope, and audit programs based on a risk analysis of the audited area.
• Allocates and manages internal and external audit resources.
• Manages and supervises the field work. Willingness and ability to perform field work is a must.
• Contributes to all facets of the audit engagement including planning, execution, conflict management, reporting, and communication of findings.
• Reviews and discusses audit findings with the VP of IA and the management of the audited unit (and higher level management, as appropriate) on a timely basis.
• Recommends appropriate corrective actions and follows up on remediation efforts.
• Reviews and approves work papers of the audit staff and ensures proper documentation in TeamMate (audit software) and elsewhere.
• Maintains effective working relationships with management, external auditors and consultants.
• Provides consultative support to the organization for improving business value as needed.
• Performs other tasks and projects as requested.

Requirements:

• B.S. or B.A. degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA degree is desirable)
• Minimum 6 years of progressive audit or related experience with a large size global corporation.
• Operational audit experience or experience in operations strongly preferred.
• Experience at manufacturing and/or PRC organizations strongly preferred.
• Experience with fraud/corruption investigation strongly preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of IAS, GAAS, IFRS and Internal Controls.
• CPA certification strongly preferred, CIA a plus.
• Fluent English and Mandarin required.
