Responsibilities

• Report to the Head of Internal Audit, conduct risk-based audits for the Group
• Perform risk assessment, prepare risk-focused audit plan and design audit procedures for evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal control system
• Perform independent assessment on adequacy of internal control and compliance control system and identify the control weaknesses for improvement
• Prepare audit reports and provide valued-added recommendations to strengthen the control environment
• Perform ad-hoc assignments as required

Requirements 

• Degree holder accounting, finance or related discipline
• Professional qualification of CPA, CIA or equivalent is preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of audit experience, preferably with internal audit experience in financial institutions
• Well-versed in various professional standards and SFC regulatory requirements
• Knowledge in securities and wealth management operations and risk management requirements, experience in banking and insurance businesses is a plus
• Able to drive execution independently with strong analytical, presentation, interpersonal and problem solving skills
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese
• Flexible to travel to Macau for performing audit assignments
  
  

*Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Internal Audit Manager.
