PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the timely financial closing/ reporting and ensure full compliance with the relevant US GAAP and local accounting standards and legislation for some countries in the Asia region
• Ensure 100% compliance with the tax reporting, filing and payments for some countries in the Asia region
• Maintain and continue to develop effective internal controls on all key processes
• Ensure full compliance with the Company’s policies and procedures
• Be the focal point and main interface with the US Corporate finance, external and internal auditor, or other functions for any financial queries related to the specific legal entities/countries
• Ensure full compliance with the Account Reconciliation Process
• Coach, develop and manage a small team of accountants and build a sustainable high performance team
• Provide collaborative solutions and support to other functions and business managers
• Drive quality and maintain good relationship with the share service center

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Accounting, CPA or other similar professional qualification
• At least 8 years of relevant accounting experience with 2 -3 years' supervisory experience gained from an MNC, preferably US or European company.
• Good working knowledge of US GAAPs & IFRS
• Hands-on with good working knowledge of key accounting processes and controls (SOX) in an MNC environment
• Good understanding of the tax compliance and filing requirements in Aus/SGP/India will be an added advantage
• Proficient in Excel and good working knowledge of SAP/ERP system
• Good interpersonal and communication skills and able to communicate with different level
• Strong command of English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin), both written and verbal
