Job Responsibilities:

• To prepare shop drawings, fabrication drawings and sketches to facilitate the smooth running of projects and formal submission.
• To perform and check the material take-off for material ordering.
• To prepare and keep well all necessary paper work to assure smooth running of projects.
• To attend meetings with contractors, architects, Building Department officers and other consultants.
• To coordinate and cooperate with other departments to assure smooth running of projects.
• To coordinate with site employees, fabricators and installers to facilitate the process of fabrication and installation work.
• To coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors relating to design aspects.
• To review project specifications to ensure all design related work compiling with project requirements.
• To ensure design concept is complied with reviewed budget.
• To advise Estimators and Quantity Surveyors on preliminary design and the section profile for their estimation.
• To assist Estimators and Quantity Surveyors for taking off materials in accordance with architectural drawings and technical specification.

Job Requirements: 

• Degree / Higher Diploma or above in Mechanical Engineering or Building Studies or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years solid experience in façade curtain wall field, in which 3 years in project design work management.
• Strong technical knowledge for project design and product development.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and skillful in related PC operations.
• Fluent in both spoken and written Chinese and English, including Putonghua.
• Initiative, self-motivated, well-organized, detail-minded, creative, independent, responsible, strong communication and leadership skills, able to work under pressure and meet deadline.
• Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior Designer.
