Job Duties & Responsibilities

•  Leads and performs requirements definition, analysis, functional design, and implementation of new or modified applications.
• Design, Test and deploy to complex application interface and EDI integration.
• Take end-to-end responsibility for coordinating business and IT resources (internal IT or external vendor) to achieve project outcomes;
• Identify and resolve issues and manage project risks, including the development of contingency plans
• Works with vendors and regional teams to ensure clear understanding of functionality issues.
• Develops, delivers and maintains quality IT solutions to support business processes, in line with IT guidelines and architectures. 
• Ensures work is technically sound and in compliance with established standards, codes, and regulations.
• Achieve a good knowledge base in relation to the relevant Business areas’ policies, strategies, products, processes, customer base, and distribution channels
• Interfaces with customer and other relevant entities to ensure project objectives are achieved.
• Responsible for day-to-day user support and recommend improvement / actions
• Coordinate with local and regional application development teams for problem identification and resolution

Qualifications / Requirements.

• Higher Diploma holder or above in Computing, information technology or other related disciplines 
• 3-5 years working experience in IT & logistics business related experience
• Familiar with Warehouse Management System (WMS) or Supply Chain Management is required.
• Proven project management skills
• Strong customer focus and open minded
• Experience in Microsoft .NET, SharePoint, DTS 
• Familiar with MS SQL database and Store Procedure
• EDI mapping/development skills desired.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in Freight Forwarding and Advanced Order Management system would be an asset.
• MS SQL Administration skill would be an asset.
• Candidates with less experience and qualifications will be considered as Assistant Business Analyst
