Duties:

• Responsible for overall management and supervision of all networking equipment and infrastructure and training of facility personnel

• Responsible for administration of security infrastructure, such as firewalls, antivirus, intrusion prevention systems, VPNs, SMTP gateway, etc.

• Performs capacity and resource planning, assessing network risks and contingency planning

• Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of network management software or hardware changes to fix any network deficiencies

• Provides Tier 2 and Tier 3 support. Involved in the evaluation of new products and services, may manage vendor service level agreements

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in network systems administration and support, in which 3+ years working experience in Hong Kong

• Experience with requirements and specifications of network hardware and software is required

• Working knowledge of networking equipment such as CISCO, Juniper, Brocade etc. is a must

• Familiarity with internet protocols, to include HTTP, FTP, TCP and UDP is required

• In-depth technical knowledge of Cisco products and the strategic direction of networking technologies

• Cisco CCIE preferred, minimum CCNP or CCDP certification required

• Ability to install, configure and support Cisco switches and routers

• Ability to monitor network performance and resolve performance and connectivity issues

• Familiarity and hands-on capabilities Network Security Solutions such as Fortinet, Juniper, RSA, Check Point, Tipping Point, CISCO, etc.
