Our client is an International Brokerage Firm. To support its rapid business expansion in Asia, they are looking to recruit a Support and Reporting Analyst in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities 

• Responsible for all system related issues for Middle & Back Office environment
• Troubleshoot any IT related issues which arise and see through to resolutions
• Monitor Middle & Back Office systems in real time
• Provide information analysis to support key business decisions and reporting needs
• Working closely with Operations & Settlements team to provide high quality IT support for Middle & Back Office related systems
• Ensure data warehouse systems, historical reporting systems & real-time reporting systems present timely, accurate and relevant data at all times
• Explore new and improved methods of data mining for fresh perspectives

Requirements

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related disciplines preferred
• Minimum 2 years' relevant working experience in manipulating data using SQL, preferably in banking and finance sectors  
• Fluent in spoken and written Cantonese and English is a must
• Excellent analytical & troubleshooting skills
• Advance knowledge of Linux/Unix scripting, Microsoft Excel and general PC skills, preferably Python
• Knowledge of data warehousing and business intelligence concepts (ETL, Staging, Data
• Mining, Predictive Analytics) an advantage
• Interest in Financial Services industry and trading lifecycle.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently under minimal supervision
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
