In this role, you will

• Supervise the finance and accounting functions and oversee daily operations of the finance and credit departments
• Prepare monthly financial and management reports; ensure compliance with regulatory reporting such as FRR and Head Office reporting
• Familiar with company and group consolidated accounts
• Responsible for the annual budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
• Develop and improve the internal control system and financial system
• Responsible for year end audit and tax compliances
• Responsible for general company secretarial duties
• Responsible for the credit approval for the securities, futures, leasing and/or money lending business
• Analyze customers’ business, background and financial statement for credit assessment and make recommendations to Risk Committee
• Perform reviews on existing and new clients’ acceptance, change of credit limit applications
• Conduct financial and industry analysis, assess the underlying credit risks and provide recommendations to management
• Ensure the accuracy of data in internal system, and reporting of related portfolio information to the senior management to achieve good AR quality and good growth of business
• Set up and review credit policy and procedures
• Undertake ad hoc assignments, conduct test and implement software and hardware systems

Requirements:

• University degree in Accounting with HKICPA/ACCA or equivalent professional qualifications
• At least 10 years practical experience in brokerage, futures, leasing and/or money lending business
• Familiar with SFC Financial Reporting Rules
• Strong analytical mind and communications skills
• Self-motivated, detail oriented, well-organized and have strong sense of responsibility and work under pressure
