Job Description:

• Research and Development of networked middleware and applications exclusively on the GNU/Linux platform, using C and C++ languages.

Applicant Experience:

• 5+ years with C/C++
• Required: Multi threading, POSIX sockets, event driven programming and socket multiplexing.  Boost ASIO, libev, ACE or similar networking and event based application development toolkit.
• Expected: Standard Template Library, gcc/binutils/glibc toolchain, bash and perl scripting, day to day familiarity with Linux software environment.
• Preferred: Boost C++ libraries, understanding of internet mail and data transfer protocols.  Performance analysis testing using tools such as: gprof, cachegrind, oprofile.
