GENERAL SUMMARY:

Coordinate and follow-up with internal customers and external parties on the design, technical details, color approvals, photography, print production and processing status of packaging

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Communicate with service provider on packaging materials and technical details
• Verify packaging design draft provided by service provider and communicate to Merchandising teams, buyers and vendor/factory
• Check design and print quality provided by vendors
• Prepare art templates and guidelines for vendor/factory follow-up on packaging artwork
• Plan and prioritize multi-projects and ensure all deadlines/schedules are maintained and met
• Coordinate with vendor/factory on design compliance issues
• Validate packaging sample submitted by vendor/factory

KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS:

• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English, Mandarin and Cantonese
• Good computer skills including Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop applications
• Familiar with both PC and MAC computer platforms
• Knowledgeable at graphic design, packaging materials and structural design
• Work experience related to print production
• Basic knowledge on photography

WORK EXPERIENCE and/or EDUCATION:

• Diploma/Degree in Packaging technology, or substantial industry experience in relevant field
• 4 years relevant experience in monitoring and coordinating packaging design and development
