The Job

Reporting to Assistant Manager (Education), you will:

• Assist in developing regular programmes of talks, education activities and workshops in response to particular themes
• Facilitate history-inspired activities in the local community in response to requests from schools and community groups
• Promote Tai Kwun on external educational bodies in order to establish a network of useful and productive partnerships.
• Liaise with schools and teachers to promote the use of the collections and activities of Tai Kwun in line with the school curriculum
• Plan, develop and manage school tours on site
• Assist in developing educational resources for schools, teachers, families and special interest groups
• Develop and deliver outreach provision in partnership with other organisations
  
  
  

About You

You should have/be:

• Degree in Education, Arts, Art History, Heritage or other related disciplines
• 4-5 years of experience in public education, heritage education and/or art education in other cultural or related organizations
• Able to work independently and cooperatively with others in a fast-paced environment and able to work at irregular hours
• Good experience and strong interest in heritage is a plus
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese
• Candidates with less work experience may be considered as Heritage Education Officer
