Job Description:

• Hard real-time control system architecture and embedded software;
• Robot path profiling, tracking and control;
• Real-time data communication and networking software;
• Design graphical user interface for industrial control panel to provide human machine interface;
• Work closely with electronics engineers to deliver complete solution; and
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the CTO, Principal Investigator or their designates.

Candidates are expected to fulfill most of the following requirements:

• Honour Degree or above in Electronic/Computer/Mechatronics engineering or equivalent and 3 plus years of relevant work experience;
• Good R&D track record and demonstrated ability to work in concert with other stakeholders in a multidisciplinary project;
• Good knowledge of electrical engineering quality control of design;
• Familiar with embedded software design in micro-controller, and DSP systems;
• Proficiency in C and C++ programming;
• Experience in embedded Linux, Real Time OS (RTOS), assembly language programming is an advantage;
• Good presentation skills and be an effective communicator;
• Ability to work independently; and
• Good command of English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).
