Main Responsibilities:

 Responsible for approval application to any accredited EU safety test house 

• To perform various internal test to assure the product is always NORM conform 
• To inspect & evaluate prototype/sample according to NORM and customer requirement.
• Implement initiatives to enhanced efficiencies on validation process, procedures, testing and performance.
• To coordinate technical improvements and compliance with suppliers / manufacturers regarding product modifications.
• Act as a major role in leading / solving / pushing through testing requirements on the manufacture side to make things happen. 
• Sample pre-checking before sending to customer test house requirements.
• Provide solid answers, clear explanation & justification to all inquiries relating to customer QM requirements.
• Response to any technical inquiries from sales team, merchandiser team, production development team, suppliers, and customers.

Requirements / Qualifications:

• Higher Diploma or Degree holder in Electrical / Electronic Engineering / Science or other related subjects.
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in product testing area &/or in 3rd party testing lab, Incl. experience in sample breakdown, test assignment and result checking. (LED Lighting preferred).
• Knowledge on regulatory requirements, particularly EN directives (Lighting).
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Solid understanding of product safety testing requirement methodologies. 
• A strong desire to learn, share knowledge and take initiative and having team spirit.
• Willing to work on extended time / under pressure / willing occasionally travel to China.
• Good communication skills
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Putonghua.
• Able to work independently / self-organized.
