EIRE Systems is looking for Project Manager with Application Migration experience to join our team in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing and overseeing the execution of the migration of applications and market data streams of the data center relocations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the MSG and MDS Migration Stream which consists of MSG application migrations, MDS migrations, broker connection migrations, Unix/Wintel/DB application migrations
• Work with the primary PM for this stream and help with planning, verification of technical details, and the execution of the migrations
• Assessing the migration plans, run books, risks, schedule and resource plans
• Coordinating with internal and external parties.
• Attend project meetings
• Communicating project status and plans with project team and stakeholders
• Managing the run book and coordinating with application teams for the execution of application and market data migrations
• Schedules for the application migrations
• Run books for the application and market data migrations
• Checklists for the application migrations

Required Skills:

• In order to achieve success, applicants will need to leverage skills and experiences in the following fields:
• Project Management knowledge & experience (PMP, Prince2)
• Experience with migrating financial and trading applications across different infrastructure platforms
• Experience with setting up / migrating market data services
• Hands-on experience with applications deployment at financial institution
• Must have an Applications deployment/administration background or a background as a PM focused on application migrations.
• Experience undertaking several application migration projects at banks.
• Risk and regulatory knowledge associated with systems changes at banks would be valuable.
