Job Summary

 

SWIFT is offering consulting and training services to help ease the burden of adoption and implementation associated with SWIFT infrastructure and operation. In this context, the Consulting and Training, Asia Pacific team is hiring a Consultant to work hands-on with customers to implement SWIFT solutions and SWIFT products, and to provide training services.

 

Key responsibilities are to commercialise and deliver business operation consulting services related to SWIFT products and solutions. There is a focus of business development in this role to work closely with the sales teams to develop service portfolio, prepare proposals and to work directly with customers.

 

In line with consulting and training services engagement, you will deliver chargeable services to the customers and will be involved with many different departments within an institution: operation, information technology, information security, technical infrastructure, networks, and any number of internal business units wishing to communicate using SWIFT.

 

A positive learning attitude is important to keep updating product and business knowledge.

 

 

Specific tasks include (not exclusive):

  • Business development and commercialisation of SWIFT business operation consulting services portfolio to meet regional commercial objectives.
  • Prepare and deliver high quality business operation consulting services to customers.
  • Under guidance of the manager, train and coach new consultants in learning, developing and delivering services.
  • Promote the overall Training and Consulting portfolio within the region.
  • Meet with customers to understand detailed level needs and requirements, prepare proposals and project plans, and make recommendations on best practice solutions.
  • Maintain and develop knowledge of SWIFT products / solutions / services, best practices and industry trends.
  • In line with team objectives, support regional teams by defining processes, and transfer knowledge.

 

Do you have what it takes?

 

Education

  • Bachelor degree in computer science or related field
  • Master degree is an advantage

 

Experience

  • At least 5 years experience in financial services or related industry
  • Experience in a service delivery role is an advantage

 

Professional knowledge and expertise

  • Fluent in English and one other language for the Asia Pacific markets
  • Proven ability to contribute in a team environment and deliver under pressure
  • Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills
  • Customer orientation and commitment to quality
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of SWIFT products, services, messaging solutions and/or standards is an advantage
  • Willing to travel
