Our client is a renowned retailer with a strong regional presence. Due to continued expansion, they are now seeking an experienced IT professional to join as Database Administrator.

Based in Hong Kong and reporting to Senior IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the group's Microsoft database performance. This will involve close monitoring, patching, optimizing, tuning, cloning, and testing for Microsoft Servers 2003 / 2008 / 2012. You will heavily influence the group's roadmap in database management and expansions.

This is a terrific opportunity for MS DBA professionals to take on a stable in-house role with structured career progression towards System Architect.

To qualify, the individual must possess:

• Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Minimum 4 years' experience in Microsoft SQL DBA
• Preferably Microsoft Database Administration Certified, MCSA
• Proficiency in Cantonese
