This candidate will be responsible for carry out technical and product safety audit (factory assessment and capability) under the company Tech Audit SOP. Follow up on corrective action plan that needs to be completed by factory on given timelines. Support business needs and growth in the region.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assignments at the discretion of the Regional Tech Audit Manager
• Perform Tech Audit on a timely manner as planned
• Review documents in details during factory audit process to ensure that they are correct and valid
• Draw up monthly inspection schedule based on priorities and local production schedules, and review on a weekly basis with Regional Tech Audit Manager
• Liaise with suppliers/ factories in relation to audit schedules and CAP follow up
• Upload all Tech Audit result onto the Company system on a timely manner
• Manage and update all Tech Audit tracker list in the common drive
• Develop and maintain working relationship with QA and Merchandising team to ensure consistent approach to business priorities
• To manage relationships with key suppliers in the best interests of Target Australia
• Continually ensure personal behavior reflects the vision and values of the business
• Review annually the audit systems, procedures and protocol for their suitability and effectiveness

Requirement

• Degree or above in related technical disciplines
• Preference will be for candidate with SA8000 and ISO9002 and Quality Management System (QMS)
• Minimum 5 years in factory audit experience in the Apparel/Textile OR General Merchandise industry
• Proven track record in product safety audit which should include experience of off-shore/ in-country working
• Good understanding in reading and written English. Putonghua is an advantage
• Are self-motivated with strong initiative, analytical and organizational skills
• Strong appreciation of technical and product safety functions
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook email
• Extensive travel within Greater China, F.E. countries and South Asia as necessary
