The Job

Reporting to Assistant Manager (Programmes), you will:

• Assist in planning and delivering events and exhibitions related to the history and culture of Hong Kong, the compound’s history and the neighbourhood
• Deliver workshops and other complementary programmes related to the thematic exhibitions
• Handle logistics arrangements for exhibitions and programmes and provide on-site support to programmes
• Assist in preparation of all documentation related to the programmes
• Identify potential programme partners and serve as the liaison
• Work closely with other teams for the programme execution
• Perform general administrative duties and provide support to the Heritage Department
  
  
  

About You

You should have/be:

• Degree preferably in Art Administration, Journalism, Social Sciences, Marketing or related discipline
• 2-3 years of experience in planning and delivery of events, exhibitions, and seminars. Past experience in the art or cultural fields would be an advantage
• Self-motivated as a team player in a small but passionate and energetic team and be able to work at irregular hours
• Open-minded, flexible and sensible in dealing with different people with diversified backgrounds and cultures
• Good communication skills and be able to establish good relationship with different stakeholders. Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese
• Passionate in local culture and heritage
• Candidates with less work experience may be considered as Assistant Heritage Programmes Officer
