Job Description
The Job
Reporting to Assistant Manager (Programmes), you will:
- Assist in planning and delivering events and exhibitions related to the history and culture of Hong Kong, the compound’s history and the neighbourhood
- Deliver workshops and other complementary programmes related to the thematic exhibitions
- Handle logistics arrangements for exhibitions and programmes and provide on-site support to programmes
- Assist in preparation of all documentation related to the programmes
- Identify potential programme partners and serve as the liaison
- Work closely with other teams for the programme execution
- Perform general administrative duties and provide support to the Heritage Department
About You
You should have/be:
- Degree preferably in Art Administration, Journalism, Social Sciences, Marketing or related discipline
- 2-3 years of experience in planning and delivery of events, exhibitions, and seminars. Past experience in the art or cultural fields would be an advantage
- Self-motivated as a team player in a small but passionate and energetic team and be able to work at irregular hours
- Open-minded, flexible and sensible in dealing with different people with diversified backgrounds and cultures
- Good communication skills and be able to establish good relationship with different stakeholders. Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese
- Passionate in local culture and heritage
- Candidates with less work experience may be considered as Assistant Heritage Programmes Officer
