Responsibilities:

• Perform the operational & administrative functions as prescribed in the process flow and procedures.
• Execute to assist assurance that all operational process control are taken in place and alert for any potential process change or risk issue.
• Assist to provide value adding financial information and advice to support our existing business and new business initiatives.
• Explore process implement opportunities which lead to operational efficiency.
• Monitoring of service level standards through reports
• Compliance with Group’s control framework, accounting standards, insurance & investment regulations in Singapore and Hong Kong, etc.
• Prepare monthly expense, deposit placement/maturity etc journal posting and month-end closing schedules for Fin Ops, if any.
• Perform the settlement of intergroup recharges of HK business, and to prepare journal posting
• Perform checking on the third parties payments to ensure the pre-approved documents are submitted
• Control balance of petty cash and ensure the payment is reimbursed properly
• Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of finance record.
• Assist to participate in exploring unreconciled items during account reconciliation (if any).
• Assist in exploring new process re-engineering opportunities in the current financial processes aimed to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• University Graduate
• Member of a recognized accounting professional body preferred (or currently studying the professional program)
• 4 years of working experience in Finance/Treasury operations and/or financial analysis, with at least 2 years of experience in insurance industry
• In-depth knowledge of accounting issues, good finance & accounting knowledge
• Knowledge of life insurance operations
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Fluency in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
• Well organize and independent
