JOB TITLE

RESIDENT ENGINEER (BUILDING SERVICES) - HONG KONG

One of the well-known Engineering Consultancies are urgently seeking a Resident Building Services Engineer to join their team in Hong Kong.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES

• You will perform all technical duties in planning, designing and co-coordinating projects

• You will liaise with site Contractors and Clients and provide technical advice regarding the design to the Contractors

• You will estimate quantities and cost of materials and ensure that all materials and equipment used meet the required specifications with high quality Safety Standards

• You will be reviewing all documents and produce work reports accurately

• Ensure and overcome problems to avoid delays on the project

    
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Degree in Building Services, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline

• 12 years experience and a Chartered Member of the HKIE (Building Services, Electrical or Mechanical) or CIBSE or any other recognized affiliation with at least 5 years post-chartership experience

• Able to organise, manage and administer site matters on a day-to-day basis

• Ability to solve problems

• IMMEDIATE availability is advantageous

• Fluent in Cantonese and English, Mandarin is a plus.
