The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Line Manager in overall sales and marketing activities referring to the Europe/Mediterranean trade for maximizing revenue and profitability.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the focal point of contract, carry out and report on sales visits for the assigned clients;
• Secure nomination and cargo bookings with maximum contribution to the Line and the Company as stipulated from time to time;
• Prepare forecast and customer performance review on a timely basic;
• Develop new accounts and strengthen customer base by assuring service reliability and improving customer satisfaction;
• Liaise with Management and Regional office to identify potential clients and business opportunities;
• Build up a professional image and maintain a strong business relationship with clients;
• Monitor market trends and competitors activities;
• Any other assignment as and when assigned by the Line Manager.

Requirements:

• University graduated or above;
• 5 - 6 years Sales & Marketing experience preferably in Shipping/Liner Industry;
• Knowledge on Europe/Mediterranean trade services would be an advantage;
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently;
• Hands-on MS Office Applications knowledge;
• Proactive and excellent communication skills;
• Good command of spoken and written English, Chinese and Mandarin;
• Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of Assistant Sales Manager.
