Job Description:

• Translate financial/legal and other types of documents from English to Chinese and vice versa 
• Perform other linguistic tasks such as editing, proofreading and quality checks
• Senior translator will also help assign work and provide training to junior team members, ensure output qualities and timelines agreed with clients are met

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree holder in Translation/Language/Communication or related disciplines
• Preferably 1-2 years translation experience in financial, legal or related industry
• Candidates with 3 or more years of experience will be considered for the position of Senior Translator
• Good command of both Chinese and English
• Willing to work overtime when required and willing to work on shifts
• Diligent, meticulous and responsible
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight schedules
• Good interpersonal skills, multi-tasking and good time-management
• Familiar with MS Office and Chinese word processing
