Responsibilities:

• Responsible in all aspects of buying related to kid’s footwear and apparel;
• Source, evaluate and select vendors especially in Italy to ensure that the products provided will reach quality standards;
• Negotiate prices with suppliers while monitoring their performance to ensure both operation and cost efficiency;
• Responsible in product selection and merchandise management through trend research, data analysis and report generation;
• Execute strategic category planning and buying activities to achieve sales, profit and sell through targets;
• Monitor stock level, merchandise distribution, stock allocation and sales performance;
• Work closely with vendor on quality issues as well as logistics and shipping issues;
• Work closely with operations and marketing departments to formulate effective advertising and promotion campaign;
• Formulate various sales and inventory analysis reports for planning;
• Conduct market research and perform store visits to review product performance

Requirements:

• University graduate or diploma holder in related disciplines;
• Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience, preferably in footwear or apparel retail industry;
• Familiar with the current kid’s footwear and apparel market trend;
• Having experience in luxury retail and/or Italian brands would be an advantage;
• Proactive, detailed oriented and able to work independently;
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills;
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin)
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Willing to travel
