Merchandiser / Planner

Report to:         Commercial Director

Subordinate:     none

Location:          Sheung Wan, Hong Kong

Main Responsibilities

• Forecast sales, working closely with Sales Team
• Plan and control stock levels based on forecasts
• Liaise with Purchasing team to define production plan
• Manage stock allocation per channel and customer
• Monitor sales performance and build strategic recommendations
• Assist other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned

Requirements – Skills and abilities

• A minimum of three (3) years of related experience in fast-paced business environment, preferably in design, innovative technology, FMCG or other comparable industry
• Degree in Sales, Marketing, BA or related background
• Overseas educated and international exposure life/education/work is a plus
• Organized and high level of attention to details
• High communication skills and able to interact with different departments and levels within the organization
• Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
• Good problem solving and interpersonal skills
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint essential - experience with SAP is a strong advantage
• Flexible, multi-tasking and able to work under pressure
