Job Description

Compliance Manager (General Compliance)

Responsibilities:

  • Perform compliance checking and review across the Bank Group and identify proper actions for improvement if necessary
  • Formulate compliance policies and monitoring programme on the Bank's various products and services
  • Advise other units on compliance issues and potential impact and provide compliance training to staff


Requirements:

  • University degree in any disciplines, preferably major in Laws or Accounting
  • Minimum 5 years' hands-on banking compliance or audit experience
  • Good knowledge in general retail banking operations and well versed with the contemporary regulatory requirements e.g. Code of Banking Practice, the Securities & Futures Ordinance, the SFC Code of Conduct etc.
  • Self-motivated, independent with strong communication skills
  • Professional presentation and report writing skills

Compliance Manager (AML)

Responsibilities:

  • Formulate AML policies & procedures of the Bank Group, and make suggestions to strengthen the AML/CFT system of the Bank Group;
  • Provide AML advice to business units and conduct AML compliance training; and
  • Supervise the AML compliance officers in their AML works.

Requirements:

  • University degree in any disciplines, preferably major in Laws or Accounting
  • Minimum 5 years' relevant hands-on experience, with exposure to AML compliance
  • Good knowledge in banking systems and major banking operations such as remittances and deposit services
  • Ability to work independently and to make prompt decisions
  • Self-motivated, independent with strong analytical and communication skills
  • Professional presentation and report writing skills

Compliance Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Mainly responsible for anti-money laundering investigations which include analysis of fund transfers/payment transactions for suspicious activities
  • Prepare reports on the suspicious activities to the JFIU
  • Conduct branch/department visit on a regular basis and prepare on-site visit report
  • Undertake other ad hoc compliance works

 

Requirements:

  • University degree in any disciplines, preferably major in Laws or Accounting
  • Minimum 3 years' banking compliance or audit experience is preferred
  • Good knowledge in banking laws, products, services and operation
  • Self-motivated, independent with strong communication skills
  • Professional presentation and report writing skills
