Job Description

CEI Asia is the region’s leading magazine for the business and corporate events industry. Launched in 2000 by Haymarket Media Ltd, CEI provides high-quality coverage of the travel industry’s dynamic MICE sector and is circulated to key corporate buyers and travel industry executives throughout the region.
 
CEI is looking for an experienced media sales manager to work across the title’s print, digital and events products, as the brand moves into an exciting period in its history. Reporting to the Group Head of Sales, the right candidate will be based in Hong Kong.
 
The successful candidate will need to have a track record of consistently hitting targets and a drive and ambition to develop new business whilst managing an existing client base. As the role covers products across multiplatform, experience in integrated selling is preferred.
 
Responsibilities

  • Assist in day-to-day management of the sales team in Hong Kong and Singapore
  • Effective and regular communication with staff and clients
  • Maximise advertising and other revenue and be responsible for growth within designated territory and sector
  • Meet and exceed current budget and business plan forecasts for contribution and revenue
  • Work proactively with sales and editorial teams to achieve set goals
  • Develop new business, clients, projects and other sales initiatives

Requirements

  • 3 – 5 years’ sales management experience
  • Experience in the B2B sector and across media, travel, tourism or hospitality
  • Ability to understand a customer’s business and provide creative solutions to meet their business needs
  • Good personal communication skills
  • Experienced in meeting with and selling to senior executives
  • Willing to travel
  • Cantonese, Mandarin and English language skills required
  • University degree
