Summary of Position職位摘要: 

This position is a senior role for Production in PRC region. It is responsible for providing leadership and direction in managing the relationships with factories in China, including production coordination, quality monitoring and assurance, supports to day-to-day operations, communication and troubleshooting, and training and guidance to subordinates. 

This person’s scope of authority includes, but not limited to, daily operation management, expense management, talent management, growth and leadership development of the Production and Quality team.

To support company strategies, it is critically important that this executive has the capacity to manage the manufacturing process in China to ensure acceptable quality goals, on time delivery, and other annual KPI are met. In addition, this executive must be able to adapt major strategy changes that require adjustments to production locations, processes, or approaches.

Key Responsibilities主要職責: 

  1. Directly responsible for PRC production which includes Production Monitoring, Quality Assurance/Final Inspection, Technical issues in Production Management. Regional Managers report to this position. 負有負責中國區的生產事務,包括生產監督、品質保證、最後檢驗、生產管理中的技術問題等等。各區域經理向此職位報告工作。
  2. Work with GM to develop production strategy and quality assurance strategy for the company. Then, direct, communicate, and implement it effectively across the PRC production and quality team with factory partners. 與總經理一同制定公司的生產策略及品質保證策略, 然後指導, 溝通,並與生產及品質團隊和工廠一起執行到位。
  3. Collaborate actively with Director of Operation to ensure reasonable factory allocation, taking into consideration of cost, development ability, lead time and capacity. 積極與生產計畫總監配合,一同考慮成本、開發能力生產時間及生產能力,確保合理的產量分配。
  4. Define and manage manufacturing initiatives aimed at improving process, quality, lead-time, and cost reduction through LEAN manufacturing where appropriate. 規劃及管理製造過程中的主動改善事項,在適當情況下通過精益生產的方法,針對生產流程、品質、快速交貨及降低成本等方面作出改善。
  5. Work closely with all other functions within the organization to obtain effective partnership in reaching company objectives. 與其他相關組織密切合作,達成夥伴關係,共同逹成公司目標。
  6. Implement measures that make sure only factories that meet our social responsibility standards are utilized. 採取措施,確保只有符合我們的社會責任標準的工廠才會被採用。
  7. Effectively coach and develop talent within assigned managerial capacity, ensuring that current talents are competent in their roles. 在職權範圍內教練和發展人才,確保現有人才能勝任他們當前的崗位。

 

Education and Experience學歷及經驗:

  • Degree holder, MBA a plus. 大學學位, MBA優先。
  • A minimum of fifteen(15) years of increasing responsibility in managing manufacturing functions including Production management and Quality management, with at least 7-10 years solid experience in a senior managerial position. Experience in Shoes industry definitely an advantage. 最少15年不斷晉升的管理製造業的責任和經驗,包括生產管理和品質管制的責任, 至少7年高級管理職位的實際經驗。具鞋業經驗者優先。
  • Strong understanding of footwear production. Accessory experience a plus. 對鞋類生產有深入的理解,有鞋類配套產品經驗者優先。
  • Solid experienced in quality standards in Footwear industry. 具有制鞋行業品質標準的實實在在經驗。
  • Highly focused and a clear communicator, able to work closely and communicate effectively with suppliers globally. 高度集中和清晰的溝通能力, 能夠與全球的供應商緊密合作,溝通無礙。
  • Strong leadership profile. 有良好的領導力事例。

Work Location: Southern China and occasional travel to other countries in Asia
