Responsibilities:

• Formulate, develop and implement audit & internal control policies and programs in conformance with audit standards, plans for different group companies and lines of business;
• Conduct financial and operational audits and handle ad-hoc assignments such as special reviews, investigations and provision of advisory service;
• Independently assess the adequacy and effectiveness of financial and operational controls of the Group and recommend best practices to strengthen the Group’s internal control environment;
• Ensure proper documentation, filing and custody of working papers, correspondence and reports;
• Provide subject matter expertise to the business area, facilitate workshops and training sessions relating to recent regulatory changes on an ongoing basis;
• Compile regular audit report with recommendations for management’s review

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree holder in Accountancy with HKICPA/ ACCA professional qualification or equivalent;
• Minimum 5 years of auditing experience, preferably gained in Big 4 and conglomerates with diversified business (especially financial services, property, asset management, investment bank, fund house) in HK and PRC as well;
• Candidate with law background is preferred;
• Be proactive, well-organized with strong analytical and communication skills and be able to work independently in a dynamic working environment;
• Occasional travel is required;
• Good command in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Putonghua).
