Responsibilities:

• Evaluation and execution of overseas (non-China) private equity and strategic investments, with a Financial Institutions industry focus
• Proposing and executing on investments in public equities and debt
• Assisting in the evaluation of investment opportunities, including preparation of investment proposals and financial models
• Supporting negotiations and structuring, deal due diligence and closing processes

• Post-closing monitoring and reporting
• Other ad-hoc projects as assigned

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of relevant experience (i.e. Private Equity, Investment Banking, Asset Management, etc)
• Financial Institutions industry expertise and/or overseas experience (e.g. work or studies) is a definite plus
• Degree in Finance or related discipline
• Relevant finance designations (i.e. CFA, CPA) are highly preferred
• Strategic thinking mindset and self-starting personality
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical and modeling skills
• Ability to interact confidently in senior-level interactions, both internally and externally

• Excellent command in spoken and written English and Chinese (fluency in Mandarin is a must), with other language capabilities (e.g. Cantonese) being a definite plus
