Accountabilities:

• To support CEO and Deputy CEO (Corporate Development) in achieving the vision, mission and objectives of HKSR by providing professional services in relation to financial and treasury management, company secretarial services and reviews/feasibility studies of new services/developments.
• To help safeguard HKSR assets and maintain a healthy financial position in accordance with the directions, policies and strategies of the HKSR governing body, Executive Committee.
• To assist CEO and Deputy CEO (Corporate Development) in maintaining strict integrity and compliance with all statutory and reporting requirements and corporate governance practices, including but not limited to respective government departments and major donors.
• To lead and maintain a professional and efficient team of finance and related staff with high morale in order to discharge the Finance Department’s functions, including but not limited to reporting regularly on time to all stakeholders with useful and meaningful management information; carrying out budgeting, budgetary control and internal control; and providing professional financial support to other HKSR departments, service units and subsidiaries.
• To recommend changes and developments in accounting policies, internal control measures, process re-engineering and application of information technology.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong interpersonal skill
• Good business acumen with adaptability skill, strong problem solving and analytical skills
• High degree of flexibility, positive attitude and readiness to change
• Over 15 years relevant experience preferably with a sizeable organization, of which at least 10 years at senior management level
• University graduate, preferably with a major in finance or business, with recognized professional accounting qualifications
• Well-versed with accounting standards and practices in Hong Kong, PRC accounting experience would be an advantage
