Job Description
Job Duties:
- Monitor the daily operation of the accounts office, such as month-end closing, accounting policies and internal control procedures
- Formulate and enhance the financial procedure to cope with the operational needs of the business
- Prepare monthly management & financial reports, and perform budget, forecast including variance analysis report
- Deal with external auditor on annual audit and taxation matters.
- Modify the financial report template as required by senior executives
- Prepare financial reports and reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements
- Enhance credit control and oversee the effectiveness of inventory control
- Handle ad hoc projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Accounting, finance or related discipline with a certified accountant qualification
- Minimum 6 years accounting experience, with 3 years in supervisory level in commercial environment
- Able to handle full set of books independently
- Proactive, result-oriented, independent, detail-minded, hands-on, responsible and able to work under pressure and meet tight schedules
- Strong communication skills, good command of spoken and written English, and Good problem solving skills
