Job Description (include, but not limited to the followings):

  • Working with the global Corporate Communications offices, Representative offices in Asia, Hong Kong-based and global Specialist Departments on a full range of communications activities, focusing on Press Relations, Internal communications and other aspects of Corporate Communications, including Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), crisis communications and Public Affairs. 
  • This role requires a particular emphasis on Chinese-speaking markets and Chinese-language editorial. 
  • Particularly important is the liaison and coordination with Christie’s Greater China offices and corporate communications channels where they include Chinese language content. 
  • Working with the direct supervisors who will set key communications strategy, this role plans and implements on-going communications projects and tasks, including press events, editorial, Chinese website coordination and editorial and translations of corporate /press/editorial materials. 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Minimum 6 years' experience in China Public Relations
  • In-house Corporate Communications or regional/China PR agency account servicing role 
  • Familiarity with intranet/internet content creation and management. Strong social media skills is a plus. 
  • Exceptional written/verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to work with diverse individuals and in a team context. Solid relationship building and people skills; good at dealing with people with different background. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities. 
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, sound judgment on corporate issues and good business acumen 
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese, additional language an advantage but not compulsory 
  • Comfort working cross-functionally and with all levels of staff, through Senior Management and across cultures.
