The Library Assistant will support the Librarian in the day-to-day operations of the school's senior library. This will include cataloguing material, manning the loan desk, and some research duties. The library is responsible for ensuring the latest information resources are available for students and faculty in a stimulating environment that encourages the acquisition of knowledge. The development of information literacy skills and encouraging reading are also priorities in the senior library.

REQUIREMENTS

• a degree
• experience in a library or in an educational environment essential
• a good understanding of how technology can support Information Literacy skills
• excellent English language skills (spoken and written)
• good social skills with a proven ability to relate well to teenagers and adults
• good organisational skills
