Assist Greater Group Asia (GGA) that includes the businesses conducted in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia achieves its business objectives & to

• Assist the Management Accountant discharge their duties in the financial management of GGA
• Preparation of accruals, prepayment analysis, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and overhead analysis.
• Preparation of customer invoices and assistance with debtor collection.
• Provide accurate and timely management accounting to assist with Profitable Growth objective of GGA.
• Build partnerships with key stakeholders in GGA, particularly the accountant & operations personnel in Hong Kong / Shanghai and the GM of that region.
• Assist with & record process & systems improvement of the Accounting function in the region so that they adhere to the global process of GGG.
• Analysis of business performance including but not limited to monthly variance analysis to budget of sales, margin and cost of BU’s in GGA.
• Assist with the preparation of Budget and Forecast financial performance of GGA
• Review Project Accounting with respect to ensuring accuracy of profitability of projects in the ERP system for projects conducted in GGA
• Ensure that direction is followed for tax & legal compliance of the Shanghai and Hong Kong business operation
• Assist with preparation of financial reports for the GG Shanghai and Hong Kong that agree with the legal and taxation requirement of China and Hong Kong jurisdiction.
• Work with BU managers to create the most efficient and effective reporting of financial information for GGA.

Competencies / Key Selection Criteria

Knowledge / Experience

• A minimum of 8-10 years accounting experience with either full or partial CA or CPA qualification;
• Experience working in a public practice in either Audit or Business Services and some commercial experience is ideal;
• Good understanding of Accounting, legal and tax compliance in the region of China, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia.
• Some experience in process re-engineering and systems implementation;
• Understanding of and capability to conduct business analytics OR had experience that can be demonstrated in process re-engineering;

• Ability to demonstrate analytical prowess & sound financial modelling;
• Can write up reports that show insight and interpret meaning for end uses;
• Ability to communicate well in written and verbal form, influence, collaborate and consult effectively;
