Key job tasks/duties/responsibilities:

• Responsible for full set of accounts
• Handle payments and e-banking; prepare cash flow forecast
• Prepare monthly, half year and year-end financial reports including variance and KPI reports, and liaising with auditors as required.
• Assist in preparation of budget, business forecasts and analysis
• Assist in tax filing and annual audit
• Liaising with Myer head office in regards to all aspects of financial accounting, management reporting, taxation and audit controls,
• Provide advice to the General Manager of Sourcing in regards to all aspect of financial management reporting and financial controls
• To ensure accounting policies comply with the relevant accounting standards and that group policies are   followed
• Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned

To be successful in this role you will need:

• At least 5 years of accountant / financial role experience in Trading / Buying Office will be an advantage
• Diploma / Degree in the related discipline
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; experience in SAP is definitely an advantageous
• A confident and proactive work ethic
• Strong Interpersonal skills
• Problem solving skills
• Time management skills
• Immediate available will be preferred
