An elite international law firm with one of the largest multi-functional coverages worldwide is actively searching for a Billing Specialist to assist their internal accounting team with billing, credit control, and revenue functions. This role can offer you excellent exposure and growth in a sizeable organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• End matter management, from matter setup (Go-matters) to time recording, WIP management, billing, client settlement, client moneys on account and SRA compliance
• Responsible to minimise the working capital cycle by engage stakeholders to actively bill on a monthly basis whilst engaging clients for prompt bill settlement
• Facilitate requests such as more complex bills - clarify instructions on proformas working with both legal teams to ensure they are understood
• Sending out statements of account for WIP and Debt, moneys on account to clients on a monthly basis where appropriate
• Assist in matters opening and closing and debt collection when necessary
• Provision of billing guides and other reports to partners and lawyers on an ad-hoc basis

Skills and Qualifications required:

• 4+ years experience working in a billing function of an accounting team
• Experience gained from a sizable corporation, preferably within a law firm or  professional services firm
• Experience of Law Society and or SRA governance
• Proficient in MS Office and Chinese Word Processing
• Fluent Mandarin and English is essential. Cantonese is a plus
• Experience in accounting systems is ideal
