Job Description

Monthly Salary Range:      

HK$32,510 - HK$44,790 (Grade of Senior Executive Officer) 

HK$19,520 - HK$37,330 (Grade of Executive Officer)

 

 

Duties:  The appointee will assist the Head of Chinese Medicine Clinics and Pharmacies in overseeing and monitoring the operation of the School’s Chinese Medicine Clinics and Pharmacies.  He/She will lead and motivate a team of support staff in daily operation, maintain a high level of customer service at the Chinese Medicine Clinics and Pharmacies, assist in devising, implementing and reviewing procedures for the smooth operation of the clinics and pharmacies, and budget planning and documents preparation. He/She will also handle enquiries, resolve customers’ complaints in a professional manner, organize training and staff development programs for the clinics’ support staff, handle office administration and inventory management, collaborate with academic and administrative units in supporting School/programme events and other activities in relation to Chinese Medicine, and perform other duties as assigned by his/her superiors.

 

Requirements:  A Bachelor degree holder with at least 8 years’ relevant working experience at supervisory level.  The appointee should have strong leadership, effective organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills.  Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), creative problem-solving ability and critical thinking are essential. Relevant working experience in tertiary institutions or health care services will be an advantage.

 

(Candidates with less experience will be considered as Executive Officer.)

 

Terms of appointment:  Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  The contract will normally be for 2 years with the possibility of renewal subject to review.  A contract-end gratuity (taxable) will be payable upon satisfactory completion of the contract. Medical and dental benefits, annual leave and the use of sports and library facilities will be provided where applicable.  The School provides excellent staff development opportunities.
