Job Description

• To promote cricket to the community by running community cricket programmes in schools, universities and fun days
• To target schools and universities to offer appropriate development programs
• To drive the planning and implementation of cricket development projects/ad hoc cricket programmes, such as Cricket Fun Day, Education Workshop, Target School Programmes at different district, etc.
• To undertake the co-ordination duties connected with the Association’s development and coaching projects
• To coordinate and liaise with other official sporting organizations, such as LCSD, HKSI, SF&OC of HK, schools, district sports associations and councils, etc.
  
  
  

Qualification and Experience

Essential

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in sports development and/or administration and/or coaching
• High Proficiency in both English and Chinese, spoken and writing
• A Diploma from a registered post-secondary college/an accredited Associate Degree from a tertiary institution/a Higher Diploma from a polytechnic university or polytechnic or Institute of Vocational Education or equivalent
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Able to work outside normal office hours and weekends
• Ability to work to deadlines, communicate effectively, maintain a flexible approach and contribute to a team environment.
• Basic Microsoft Office computer knowledge
  
  
  

Highly Preferred

Cricket has been played in Hong Kong for 174 years. Cricket Hong Kong is the National Sport Association for cricket in Hong Kong. Our mission is to promote, expand and develop the sport of cricket in Hong Kong, improving standards in all sectors of the game (quality of play, facilities, administration, coaching) and increasing the participants of all sectors of the local community in cricket.
