Our client, a reputable listed bank, is seeking an experienced System Analyst to join their team. Candidate is responsible for:

Responsibilities:

• Formulate technical and user documentation
• Maintenance and enhancement of core banking system
• Monitor the software development progress according to schedule
• Validate and process the financial transactions from different product systems, especially during the offline period or end-of-day processing of the core banking system.
• Involve in program development when necessary to meet the predefined development schedule
• Ensure development work follows department standards and guidelines
• Assist the project manager in managing out-sourced projects and work with vendors on the project delivery.
• Liaise with users and other teams in bank-wide project.
• Participate in all stages of project development cycles including requirement definition, system design, development, conduct testing and arrange user acceptance test.
• Handle system implementation and post-implementation support.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciplines
• Minimum 6 years’ experience application software development with 3 years in system analysis with Java technologies in banks
• Proficient in .Net program development and DB stored procedures is a must.
• Solid experience in Java, JSP, JavaScript, VB.NET, ASP.NET, VBScript, VB6, Unix Script, Crystal Report, Business Object and database stored procedures
•  Knowledge in Web Services adn WebSphere configuration and deployment
• Good communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
• Excellent in both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin

***Candidate with less experience will be considered as Analyst Programmer.
