Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the execution of the day-to-day settlement activities (Hong Kong and Overseas Stock & Futures, Bonds, Derivative)
• Maintain smooth running of routine functions
• Provide corporate activities information to client & follow up with clients’ instruction
• Handle IPO applications
• Build and maintain effective communication with internal and external parties, such as Customer Services, Sales, Banks, and Brokers to provide high service level to Individual/Institutional clients
• Provide assistance to Department Head to develop and implement workflow procedure and guidelines, new products and services related to Settlement functions and business
• Participate in evaluating system enhancements, UATs and projects
• Undertake ad-hoc assignments

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Finance/Business Administration or related discipline(s);
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in the securities/futures industry; with at least 2 years supervisory experience
• Knowledge in using CCASS ,DCASS, AFE, Omgeo/CTM, Euroclear and CMU would be an advantage
• Good inter-personal and communication skill
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadline
• Attained all necessary regulatory criteria for carrying out brokerage and futures activities
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese including Putonghua
• Immediate available is preferable
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Settlement Manager
