Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Assist head of Credit Control and Risk Management to oversee routine operations;
  • Monitor margin call for securities, futures and option trading, perform margin call on margin account/finance loan account and follow up with overdue payment of cash client
  • Provide proper guidance to junior staff in the execution of routines and generate ideas on streamlining operation flow;
  • Participate relevant in-house projects and perform the tasks being assigned by Senior Management from time to time;
  • Review and adjust client's limit as a general course of operations;
  • Prepare credit proposal for management approval / periodic reports to management / client on-board process;
  • Perform UAT and  closely monitor the company's risk exposure, e.g. Operational, System, Market and Credit Risks;
  • Collaborate with various departments internally and liaise with Head Quarter‘s Group Risk Control unit, generate the monthly report in accordance to the Head Quarter‘s guidelines;
  • Review, formulate procedures and policies for the Department
  • Process based risk and control assessments and ongoing monitoring frameworks including metrics and remediation management;
  • Support for line of business risk management activities including new product approvals, vendor risk management, data integrity;
  • Review credit proposal opening of new accounts and verification of transfers or withdrawals

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related disciplines with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in local and global markets
  • Computer literate and proficient in MS Office, including Word & Excel
  • Good communication and organisation skills
  • Responsible, reliable, tactful, with pleasant personality, good attitude and disposition
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English, Chinese and Mandarin
  • Knowledge of FRR Filing with SFC;
