Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Board, develop and establish operating policies consistent with the company policies and objectives and ascertain their adequate execution. Appraise and evaluate the results of overall operations regularly and systematically, and report results to the CEO
• Manage the entire operational functions to ensure strict adherence to the operating procedures and compliance with internal guidelines, and statutory legislations and rules
• Formulate, review and update policies, procedures and manuals in relation to front and back offices operations to ensure the operations of the company meet all latest regulatory, legal requirements and industry guidelines and practices
• Manage and motivate a team of operational staff to achieve operational standards and ensure operations manager are effectively managing all aspects of daily business operations
• Work closely with various departments and companies within the Group to ensure smooth operations and facilitate the efficiency of business activities to achieve targets whilst maintaining a sound control environment
• Manage projects like system upgrades, new product launches and process enhancements to ensure on-time completion according to specifications within budgeted costs and timeline and assess risks across projects
• Assist the CEO in driving and measuring the sales personnel’s monthly business targets

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Law or related disciplines
• Holder of relevant Professional Qualifications, like CPA, PCLL or CFA etc, will be an advantage
• Minimum 10 years working experience at executive level with management of a substantial team, preferably gained from financial institutions / insurance companies
• In-depth understanding of operational controls, workflows and regulatory requirements and practice in Insurance industry
• Strong leadership, planning, analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Station in Macau
