Our client, a reputable listed bank, is seeking Manager/AVP to join their Product Development team. Focusing on investment products, the candidate is responsible for:

Responsibilities:

• Explore new opportunities, develop new products and enhance existing products like bonds, funds, structured products, etc.
  
• Propose new investment product development plans to achieve the strategic objectives and business goals
• Conduct market research on existing and new products to ensure competitiveness and give professional advice on improvements
• Analyze investment products results to evaluate performance and prepare regular management information reports
• Liaise with product providers to gather product specifications, provide training support to facilitate investment products launch like mutual funds and structured products.
• Prepare training materials on new products for branches and sales teams
• Ensure strict adherence to internal and external regulatory requirements and perform due diligence for new products and existing products
• Ensure full compliance and good operation control in product launch and sales process

 Requirements: 

• University degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting or related disciplines
• CFA holder is preferrable
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in investment with exposure to mutual funds, fixed income, equities, structured products and FX markets.
• Licensed by SFC for regulated activities, Type 1 and Type 4
• In-depth knowledge in various aspects of investment products, market practices, risk and regulatory requirement
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Good interpersonal and analytical skills
• Creative, independent, strongly motivated by achieving quality results, high level of initiative
• Excellent command of both English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
• University degree holders, preferably major in Finances / Investment / Economics
