Responsibilities:

• Oversee all legal matters for the company and advise to Management
• Draft, review and negotiate a range of commercial agreements including content acquisition and distribution agreements; joint venture arrangements; service and other agreements, for local and international media & entertainment businesses
• Assist with the management of intellectual property assets especially trademarks
• Provide legal advice to management in relation to media & entertainment matters
• Carry out/perform duties consistent with strategic plans and directives as determined by management
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

• A qualified lawyer with minimum 8 years of post-qualification legal experience
• General commercial experience and familiarity with media & entertainment businesses and trademarks matters
• Good drafting, negotiating, problem solving, and communications skills
• Good written and oral communication skills including English and Chinese (Putonghua and Cantonese)
• Ability to work effectively with management and operations personnel
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Willing to travel to Shenzhen from time to time
