Job Description

1) Product Knowledge

  • General Knowledge of garment construction
  • Technical experience in fabric production and/or finishing
  • Understanding of fabric testing procedures and ability to analyze results
  • Capacity to market product Line
  • Ability to recommend products to sales team based on garment application
  • Train Sales staff on product line


2) Sales Management:

  • Responsible to manage existing sales team, while offering guidance and support to existing and new customer relationships
  • Responsible for implementing an action plan to our QST Asia sales team (China, S.E Asia, India, Bangladesh, etc)  to promote and sell our products to garment manufacturers to achieve growth
  • Responsible for developing and exploring new customers and providing the necessary market information internally and externally to manage the opportunities
  • Responsible for taking ownership of the regional customers to ensure that a positive customer relationship is maintained and customer satisfaction is achieved
  • Flexibility to travel to participate and provide support to trade shows, product/sales  training,  sales meetings, and other sales-related functions as requested and/or defined by management

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Proficient in Verbal and Written English with demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels of personnel both internally and externally. Fluent in Mandarin will be an advantage
  • Ability to form strong connections with team internally and externally
  • Possess time management and organizational skills to track progress of projects and stay on schedule
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills in customer relationship management
  • Should be result & detailed oriented and have immaculate credentials on honesty & integrity
  • Should be a quick learner
  • Should have good Negotiation, financial, analytical & presentation skills
  • Knowledge of Garment Construction/Production and Pattern making
  • Sound knowledge of Computer applications like MS Office, Internet.
  • Travel required (Utilize Travel to train, promote, and sell)


EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree or MBA in Business, Sales & Marketing, Textile Design, Fashion Design  from a recognized university
  • EXPERIENCE:
  • Min. 3 years of experience in Sales and Marketing in garment industry
  • Must have proven success in the areas of Sales and/or Marketing, and Key Account Management.
